I've been interested in BDSM for years. I remember picking up a copy of "Screw the Roses; Bring Me the Thorns" at a friend's house years ago, and finding myself aroused by reading it. My kind friend let me borrow the book, and once I shared it with my husband, a whole new aspect of our marriage opened up.
We were moderately active in the Scene in Atlanta, but since moving to Huntsville (and having two kids) we haven't been able to find our way back. Experimental inquiries have found the locals to be very insular. Understandable, since many people work at the Arsenal or MSFC.
I'm still happily married to The One (tm), but we have always had an open relationship. I used to be very flirtatious and gregarious, but have found that many factors have led me to become shy and self-conscious. I'd love to make friends and get comfortable with them enough to talk openly about the Scene, and maybe submit for the right Dom/Domme. |
