I will finally graduate college in June.  It is scary.  I'm not much of a people person, so the sooner i find a home the happier I'll be.  

Hopefully, no more expected of me except household duties for some family:  washing dishes, hand and machine; walking the dog and picking up the poop; cleaning the bedroom,  bathroom, living room and dining room; doing laundry by hand or washer; vacuuming; taking out the trash; baby sitting; watering plants; raking leaves; ironing; and submissive bedroom duties as required.

I have been really frightened by some of the discipline ideas some dominants.  Certainly pain and/or discomfort must be employed by the owner to shape the behavior of the slave, but extreme violence and torture is frightening, dangerous and repulsive.  Punishment should be humane, monitored for safety and accompanied by clear verbal explanation of the behavior being shaped.

Careful spanking and whipping is normal punishment.

Punishments:

• Food Restrictions
• Bread and water, for instance
• Stand in the punishment/spanking corner
• Hold coin or ball to wall corner with nose
• Think about transgression
• Soap/hot sauce/vinegar in the mouth
• If a job is not done diligently, assign practice doing it. She'll learn to be more thorough if she's made to sweep the floor three or four times because her first effort wasn't good enough.
• "Hold your tongue!" Have her stick out her tongue and hold it between two fingers.
• Timer to set definite boundaries for work completion and for duration of punishment.
• Forced/repeated apology: Apologizing stresses humility.
• Writing lines apology over and over:  Effective because it repeats the message. It drills it into the head and helps it stick. (ex “I will not [insert bad thing done here] again because [insert reason why here]. If I do I will receive/have to [insert non-desirable punishment here]”)
• Cold shower: must rinse entire body in cold water for 2 minutes.
• Kneeling on raw rice, beans, pencils or punishment mat

1 - When being spoken to, stand still, keeping your hands quiet, and always look at the person speaking.

2 - Never let your voice be heard by the ladies and gentlemen of the household, unless they have spoken directly to you a question or statement which requires a response, at which time, speak as little as possible.

3 - In the presence of your betters, never speak to another servant or person of your own rank, or to a child, unless only for necessity, and then as little as possible and as quietly as possible.

4 - Never begin to talk to the ladies or gentlemen, unless to deliver a message or to ask a necessary question, and then, do it in as few words as possible.

5 - Whenever possible, items that have been dropped, such as spectacles or handkerchiefs, and other small items, should be returned to their owners on a salver.

6 - Always respond when you have received an order, and always use the proper address:   “Sir“, “Ma’am “, “Miss“ or “Mrs, “ as the case may be.

7 - Never offer your opinion to your employer.

8 - Always “give room,” that is, if you encounter one of your betters in the house or on the stairs, you are to make yourself as invisible as possible, turning yourself toward the wall and averting your eyes.

9 - Except in reply to a salutation offered, never say “good morning” or “good night” to your employer.

10 - If you are required to walk with a lady or gentleman in order to carry packages, or for any other reason, always keep a few paces back.

Begging in O&P relationships is a very submissive way of asking for something that acknowledges that the dominant has the choice about whether to say yes or no. Begging often involves using cues that imply a difference in status and make the submissive appear vulnerable (vulnerable to the reply "no" about something they obviously really want in particular.) Those cues seem to connect to some subconscious part of humans being begged to, whether the response is mercy or just a sadistic smile.

The follow list of elements in begging was derived from the insight that everything in a slave's life is a privilege and all requests by a slave are implicitly or explicitly a type of begging, as they are from a position of vulnerability rather than control. For this reason, the ability to beg well is something to cultivate so they can present their desires appropriately and increase the chance those requests are granted.

• Say what it is you're asking for. This is what it's all about.
• Say why it's important to you. This makes your vulnerability about this more significant.
• Say that it's entirely up to the dominant whether you get it.
• Say "please". A lot. That says lack of status (very polite) and that the dominant has all the choice ("please" is short for "if it pleases you".)
• Use the dominant's form of address (or name, as appropriate) to help stress the status differential.
• Use any available physical way of stressing the status differential (kneeling, hands clasped, tears etc.)
• Don't do anything resembling negotiation. You're not striking a bargain. You're making it look like the dominant has all the power. They'll like that ;)

Keep doing all that, in some kind of slightly random, Jazz improvisation sort of order, until they let you stop.

For example: "Please Brer Fox, don't throw me in the briar patch! Please! I'm begging you, sir, please! The briars will tear me to pieces, please don't Brer Fox, please. I know I've always tricked you and I don't deserve anything but the briars, but please have mercy, sir! I begging on my knees. Please!" etc etc.

The fifteen rules for serving a couple orally.

• Consider orally serving one’s owners a privilege and honour.

This is hard for new slave owners to learn, but slaves respond best to directness. Never ask, “Do you want to…?” or, “Would you like to…?” or even, “Why don’t we…?” Instead, be direct and state clearly what you want or don’t want the slave to do. Say, “I want you to…take the trash out now…clean up my room now…get my car washed today, etc. Ultimately, your slave will enjoy being treated like a sub-human—someone to give orders to—and you will enjoy the results.

Should you be affectionate toward a slave?

True affection toward a slave is a mistake.  Only the kind of affection you would give to a dog is appropriate.  You give an animal: a pat on the head, a "good dog."  Giving a slave scraps of food, pieces of candy or letting it masturbate in front of you are all appropriate affectionate rewards.  But not the kind of affection where you try to establish a relationship with a slave so so the slave will like you.  It's not possible for a slave to go from licking a person's shoes and asshole to being their friend.  It is manipulative and dishonest for an owner to offer friendship or affection toward a slave.  A slave can be either your friend or your dog, but not both.

A slave will always use affection to undermine the relationship. Its not far from, "I love you" to "if you loved me You would [fill in the blank]."  The affection doesn't even need to be expressed.  If a slave even senses you loved it , it will use it to manipulate you in subtle ways.  You would inevitably treat it better out of your love.  Instead of exploiting your property, your property would begin exploiting you.  Its not that a slave wants to do this, but true slavery backs a slave into a corner and she will try anything to evade work, evade punishment, get favors from her owner.

A slave should be beneath consideration as a friend.  You should find friendship with a an asslicking slave repulsive.  Can you imagine going to your friends and saying, "Here is my friend.  Shee's a cum eating asslicker.  Isn't she great?  Don't you like her, too?"  On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with saying, "Here is my slave.  She eats my cum and licks my ass."

And, look at the other side of it.  If you felt affection for someone, how could you spit on that person, kick her, call her names.  You would have to be a terrible person to do that.  But, if you both understand that affection is out of the question, then such behavior becomes acceptable to both parties.  

Home labor

Idle hands are the devil’s workshop.  One of the best ways to keep a worker’s mind from wandering is to provide it with lots of hard labor.  Some owners take the easy way out and require a worker to have an outside job arranging for the wages earned to go directly to the owner.  One can only imagine, however, what thoughts might go through a girl’s mind if she were allowed contact with free people. 

An alternative is to have a home workshop where the girl can occupy all her waking hours when not engaged in household chores or personal services to her Master, Mistress, other members of the household or guests and visitors.  Many of the home jobs involve writing and customer service.  While these do keep the girl at home where she can be closely supervised, they also provide an opportunity to learn about the outside world and even communicate with free people.  There are hundreds of products, however, that can be assembled at home earning piece work money for the slave’s owners. 

Basic household chores usually can be performed in exemplary fashion in only about 6 hours, leaving a good ten hours for workshop work.  The remaining eight hours can be used for feeding and resting the worker.  Extra time can be saved by allowing the worker to sleep and eat at its work station.

This is not an easy route because it requires close supervision on the part of the superior and a great deal of attention to the business.  Supervision today is greatly helped by computer aided work supervision and video observation equipment.  Output can be monitored minute by minute.  Work quotas can and should always be increasing as a worker learns the task and becomes more skilled.  From the first day, a worker should be forcefully impressed with the fact that very rapid work is the expectation.  Failure to produce the worker quota will be met with harsh discipline.
