Libran slaves have elegance, charm and good taste, are naturally kind, very gentle, and are lovers of beauty and harmony. They are often afraid of criticism and have a great need for approval. But their characters are on the whole balanced, diplomatic and even tempered, and they are very social people.
Libran slaves are sensitive to the needs of others and have the gift, sometimes to an almost psychic extent, of understanding the emotional needs of their master and meeting them; they are the kind of slaves of whom it is said, "They always make you feel better for having been with them." They loathe cruelty, viciousness and vulgarity and detest conflict between people, so they do their best to cooperate and compromise with everyone around them, and their ideal for their slavery is complete unity with their master.
They show understanding of their master's point of view, trying to resolve any differences by compromising, and are often willing to allow themselves to be punished even unfairly rather than argue. They love sex to the extent of promiscuity sometimes, and are very romantic; they make excellent slaves in poly families. The Libran slave's continuing kindness toward her partner(s) mollifies any hurt the other may feel if they have had a tiff. She is the most empathetic of all slaves and the most ready to tolerate the beloved's failings.
Libran slaves may be easygoing to the point of inertia, and seldom angry when circumstances demand a show of annoyance at least. They dislike coarse, dirty work and can sometimes tend to be a little on the lazy side when keeping up with routine chores. They may find that they beat themselves up over not being able to always please their master, so great is their need to be found pleasing. |
