Someone very special to me recently attended a memorial service for a long-lost relative that died in WWII while serving his country. She said it was a beautiful service, hot as Hades during the day, but a beautiful service, nonetheless. It had a 21-gun salute, a fly-over, and all the love and respect he deserved. Next time you see a soldier, thank him/her for their service. Without them protecting our liberties and freedom, this great country would not be where it is today. Even if you don't like the president or you disagree with the war, never stop supporting the troops. They defend this country with honor and the utmost in selflessness. I live in the south, Louisiana to be specific, and we are a culture like no other. Usually, shotguns outnumber people 6 to 1, directions to someone's house include turn off the paved road, dead armadillos in the middle of the road are considered possums on the half-shell, it's not a pothole unless you can lose a Volkswagon in it, and them skeeters are big enough to carry you into the woods to eat you later.
Being from Louisiana, if it walks, crawls, slithers, flies, or swims, it has it's own festival. Any combination of festival creatures will typically end up in a gumbo or jambalaya.
There is nothing like Southern philosophy. My grandma once told me as I climbed her pecan tree and I quote, "If you fall out that tree and break your leg, don't come running to me!!!"

I've noticed a growing trend on this site. More and more dommes on here requiring "tribute". I say, "Puh-leeease!!!" But I understand it completely. I should have to pay to serve you...after all, you're just so damn cute and I should be so lucky to serve a pretty, little thing like you. Come on, now. If I wanted to pay someone to serve who is too lazy to work and thinks she is the center of the universe, I don't need a domme...I simply need an ex-wife!!! LOL
Seriously, though, get an education and a real job like the rest of us. All you really are is a user with no real concept as to what a true D/s relationship is. You actually insult the real dommes out here and disgrace the word "domme" by calling yourself one.
But understand, I am certainly not calling out true pro-dommes. There are some out here that do perform a valuable service. They are intelligent women with minds for business who provide a service with the emphasis on business. Some build a strong rapport with a client and actually either become friends with that person or start caring about the person as a person and not just a bank account.
So I say bless the true dommes out here (whether lifestyle or pro-) for they are the ones that truely deserve a submissive's priceless gift of submission. |

I'd like to take a minute and address an epidemic that seems to be running rampant not only here, but nearly everywhere one chooses to go: stupidity. Now everyone has battled an episode of this affliction many times in their lifetime, but what get's me is the frequency of the episodes. Everyone has the right to be stupid every now and then. It's just that some people abuse the privilege. God sure must love stupid people...he made a hell of a lot of them.
Now please be aware that I'm not talking about forgetting where you placed your car keys or leaving the milk on the counter as you rush out to work. I'm talking about the incessant lack of common sense or grasp of reality.
One thing that really makes me laugh is how some people (both dommes and subs) write their profiles. While there are some that are well written and a pleasure to read, there are many others out there that look they were written using the "Hukt on fonix dikshunary". There is a difference between "dominant" and "dominate". A person is not dominate; a person is dominant. Dominate is a verb; dominant is an adjective that describes what the domme is. While it's understandable that we sometimes misspell words on here due to the fact that the fingers and brain have a temporary lapse in cohesion on the keyboard, excessive mistakes make you look both uneducated and unmotivated. A profile on here is like an introduction to someone out in public. You would not approach someone in a club or on the street with breath that smells like you rinsed your mouth out with sewage, nor would you dress like a hobo in your attempt to wow a certain someone. Put some effort into it, why don't you? You chose this person to write to for a reason. Now show this person why you feel he or she is special and why you feel you are worthy of their time.
The second and final topic here dealing with stupidity is the dommes out here who come out hostile on their profiles because they think being crude and harsh means they are dominate (sorry, couldn't resist the joke here). It doesn't mean you are dominant, it simply means you are a bitch. They also write on their profile that no one is worthy of their time. If someone is not worthy of your time or they are simply pieces of shit and will be treated as such, why on earth would you even consider that person to be your slave? You have such low self-esteem that you need to berate someone so low to make yourself feel superior? That doesn't make you dominant, just insecure.
In my opinion, a true domme is a mix of strength and tenderness, and class and lewdness. My key point is a Lady can be a tramp at times and not lose her status as a Lady, but a tramp can never be a Lady. A pig in a silk dress and diamond earrings is still a pig. She who has the love and respect of her slave can rule with an iron fist sheathed in a satin glove. With a simple glare or a slight change in her tone, a domme with control over her slave can move mountains. Confidence is a great quality in a domme, but their is a very fine line between confident and arrogant. So ladies, if you expect to find a sub out here worthy of your time, make sure you are worthy of their submission first. How can you control a slave when you lack control of your own attitude?
To the ladies out here who have the refined and classy outlook on here, may you have all the happiness in the world with your cherished slave. A mistress without a slave's submission is just as incomplete as a slave without a mistress to totally give himself to. Remember, we need each other. With respect comes joy...the joy of dominance and submission.
So if you are offended by any of the statements above, chances are the words that offend you are the ones that apply to your situation. |

Due to the amount of bullsh*t on this site, I have come to the realization that loving, knowledgeable mistress I am searching for does not exist here. I have decided to end my search for a while. It wasn't a total loss...I met a really nice lady on here. You know who you "B"...;-)

I just love reading profiles on here for a good laugh. My favorites seem to be the dommes who complain endlessly that they can't find a submissive, but limit the search radius to a nine second drive...
