I have not been on this site for nearly two weeks. I was struck down with the flu or something just like it. I can't believe how hard it hit me. I was at a Halloween party and then it all went down hill.

I felt awful with aches and pains through my entire body. Runny nose and coughing like I had lung cancer and was about to die. My whole chest burned like fire each time I coughed. I had no strength or energy.

I tried to go to work a couple days and come straight home and go to bed but that didn't do me any good. I ended up in bed and on antibiotics and couch suppressants. Still on them and finally feeling better but still have a nagging lingering cough that sounds awful and hurts.

Several of you have written. Please be patient. Its coming to a bad time of year. I will be traveling out of state since we celebrate a double Thanksgiving. One early sometime next week with family out of state and then regular with family back in NJ. We will not fly but drive about a thousand miles each way since we travel with several pets.

Gosh I need a simpler life. Sometimes I just want to be kidnapped and kept captive only having to keep house and follow orders. On top of it all my girlfriends keep calling. Oh well... I'll take it one day at a time... maybe half days are even better.

Please, if you (particularly you men) write me and are expecting a response be sure to write more than one or two words and make it intelligent, polite and meaningful.

Also it helps immensely if your profile contains some pictures (of you) and some meaningful information. Not necessarily long but descriptive and say what you are looking for and what experience you have.

This problem doesn't exist with women just men.

So much has been occupying reena's time that there is very little time available for play. My family member's hip replacement had copmplications and is still undergoing physical therapy; has little endurance; cannot walk any distance without discomfort or becoming stressed and tired. Returning to work is impossible and disability retirement has been granted. The knee oin the other leg still needs to be replaced. It has been a life changing episode.
There have been more layoffs at work meaning more responsibility for those of us left. But sales are good so it will stay busy. Maybe too much so because the nature of my job does not have routine hours and is unpredictable. Worked the last two Saturdays unplanned after being called early in the morning.

Many have written and i apologize for not returning a response. It is so hard to make time and get everything under control. Sometimes i just want to run away from it all but that doesn't seem to be a real option. Besides i would miss my pets. (real pets)

i have had to squeeze in some self play at home. i will try to at least do some photos and upload something new.

i will answer my emails soon. At least i'm checking in after months of not having a chance to get back here.
