Message to my fellow Doms:There is a difference between being a Dom and being a dick.
I made a journal entry about this a few months ago, but I keep seeing posts on sub's profiles and journals indicating that no one seems to be getting this and it's just annoying everyone. All that being a dick will do is scare subs away from the site. So try to avoid having your first message being something which includes the phrase "hey slut" in the first sentance. Saying it when they are tied down and apologising for being a bad girl or boy and needing punishment is different from when you've never said a word to each other.Hell, it might be ok after talking only a minutes on chat, but at least give it a minute to see what they want. Yes there are exceptions, but most of the time you can at least offer to stroke their cheek before you slap it.
Oh, and saying she's a lesbian means she just wants other girls, and not you if you're a guy. Just thought i'd put that idea out there for you. And I doubt they'd make an exception for you.
Ok, off my soapbox for a minute and just a general update. I'm now over my flu and my re-location to the NT has been posponed for the 2nd time by my work.
I'm not not even sure when I'm going and what's happening, which is rather unfortunate given it makes my personal life a huge mess.

I'm currently suffering from a bad flu, which is annoying, but I've had a few days off of work for now.
As well, I should probably explain that I'm moving to the northern territory in the next month or two. I can't go into too much detail, but I'm living in a major town in the NT near a mine where I work as an engineer. I have weekends off and I work a relatively standard work day (the advantage of living residential vs fly in fly out).
It is really unfortunate, given I'm not exactly expectant about the scene in the northern territory, there are a few people in Alice Springs and Darwin on the site, and I'll probably contact a few of them to get any details about anything happening, but while I'm there it seems like I'll probably be waiting to return back to Perth or visiting the east.

New rule for my fellow doms:
Stop acting like assholes to the subs on this site. There is a difference between being a dom and being an ass. From the discussions with the subs I've talked to, they all seem universally amazed that I don't immediately act like a dickhead.
Yes, subs enjoy being controlled and alot of them like humiliation and thats fine and fun. If they want to, they might like being called a slut or whore. So when you've talked with them and you know what they're into and ok with, then by all means, have a ball. But for most of them (there admittedly are exceptions) want to at least talk to you until you start being serious.
But I'm sick of talking to subs who have been almost been turned off this site by annoying doms. So stop it.
PS. If a sub doesn't respond to your message, say to yourself "Oh well....that sucks" and move on. Don't send a second message thats just pissed off ranting, that also doesn't do anyone any favors, especially yourself.

Went to sexpo last night and had some interesting fun. Bought some good stuff, including some nice soft rope, something that is harder to find than you'd think(rough rope is something that shouldn't be used on a sub, better to cause pain with a nice spanking than tiring inchyness. I also bought a spanking flogger too). I later met up with some friends there and we wandered around and discussed some of the more interesting areas.
