Scam #1 Cellular Ghosting
Once a savvy person has your cell contact information, they can ghost your cell service and depending on your plan, can make purchases USING YOUR PHONE NUMBER!

The moment you take a conversation outside of the originating site the perpetrator is no longer bound by the TOS of that site. So they can ask you for money, or relocation assistance, or anything they want and they think it cant affect them on the site.
Don't get caught in these scams. Be smart and report them. |
