5/30/2017 7:56:12 AM: Not sure why I'm writing this here, but I just got a call from my nephew and a buddy of his is KIA in Afghanistan.  It's the first one he's lost in his early Army career and he's taking it pretty hard.  I remember how hard I took it the first time, and sadly I remember how I became somewhat jaded about it.
