2/22/2017 5:22:51 AM: Do you possibly have unrealistic expectations about the people on this site and the literature they are going to send you the first time they contact you?Do you really think that people are going to be taking the time to write an introduction letter with paragraphs of interesting things about themselves and what they expect from you, not even knowing if the message will ever be read? Do you expect people to write something unique and sincere to you? I'm not going to be spending much time on my first-contact messages, because writing takes time and effort, time is scarce and I prefer to spend my time writing to people I connect and share interests with! Until we connect, the messages will be rather standardized and impersonal.
