I am fairly new to the BDSM scene. I am evolving. I identify as a submissive because I want to find a man that will become my Dom, but I find most do not possess qualities that gain my trust to give him all of me as I wish and hope one day to the one I find worthy. I want a trust earned so solid that if you tell me to jump off a bridge with my eyes closed that I am 100% confident you have devised a plan to make sure I will come out alive without harm, because you will never want to harm me, even when I am at my most unlovable.  I am also realistic this may never happen but I will keep my hope because no one can ever take it from me.

I also find power struggle fun at times. I want to challenge your dominance and you ALWAYS come out on top. It is more of I am challenging myself, through this I learn but I can never become better than the teacher/master. Mentally my Dom should challenge me every way possible, being honest enough to point out my weaknesses and gentle enough to prove through action that imperfections do not matter. I want perfection of myself, I want my Dom to see the same ultimate vision I see for myself and be my mentor and guide to getting to that full potential. I will do it without you and be fine but I would rather not.

Almost does not sound like a D/s relationship but I believe it is. The reward of that hefty position is my undying devotion and complete support using all of my resources to add to yours. It is an interplay of power exchange between 2 people. To the world we are bad ass, I am your weakness, you are my strength and together we are unstoppable (I confess that doesn't feel original but it feels perfect).
