After visiting this site one could be forgiven for thinking that all subs are fantasists looking for " kinky sex"  and that all Dommes are con artists asking for tributes because of the amount of time wasters they meet.

I have no doubt that there is more than an element of truth in both points of view but I would also hope that there are some very decent,ordinary and normal people on here who just happen to take a less conventional view of relationships.

I have a confession: I'm submissive.

Good, now that we have got that out of the way can we please concentrate on what's important?

I'm just a friendly sort of guy who has very ordinary interests.  I like to go out for a couple of drinks with friends. I'm interested in football and motor racing. ( I'm interested but NOT fanatical. It will make no difference to my life if West Ham lose to Arsenal although I might be slightly annoyed about it for about twenty minutes afterwards..... Question.  How many football fans does it take to change a light bulb?  Answer.  About 5. One to actually change the damn thing, one to give a live running commentary. One to talk you through the action replay and the other two to bore you to death by explaining how they would have done it differently.) 

I enjoy walking. ( I'm a member of the ramblers association but again I'm no fanatic. I think that 4 or 5 miles is more than far enough to have worked up an appitite and thirst sufficient to merit finding the nearest pub and enjoying a bottle of beer and a pie which is of course the whole point of a good walk. )

Please don't let that give you the idea that I'm some sort of fitness freak, I'm anything but. I can spend hours sitting on my bum vegging out in front of the tv or reading a book so I like to go for a long (ish) walk at least once a week otherwise I would get no exercise at all.

I also enjoy visiting art galleries and museums, I go to the cinema and I used to go to the theatre or to concert but haven't been for a few years now due in part at least, to the fact that most of my friends think it's elitist,  ( I'm most definitely working class so what the hell is elite about me? ) and I don't really want to go on my own.  Then of course there is the fact that it is ridiculously expensive. 

All in all, I think that I'm pretty normal sort of guy. 

If you are still reading at this point then you are probably wondering why I'm telling you all this rather than talking about ( For the lack of a better expression.) D/s relationships.

The answer is simple. Submissiveness is just part of my nature, it's not something I can switch on and off and would hope to meet someone who understands that.  

However, just because it's part of my nature it doesn't mean that I cannot be subjective about it. If there is no chemistry between us then it wont work.

And THAT is the reason why I'm treating this like a "vanilla" dating site rather than anything else. Somewhere along the line the idea of D/s has become corrupt and most people ( But by no means all.)  make sweeping generalisations and assume that D/s equates to debauchery and promiscuity. It DOES NOT. And I'm merely looking to meet someone who is of a similar mind.
