| I believe that dominance and submission are largely tied to gender. That is, males are generally intended to be dominant in relation to the females in their life and females are generally intended to be submissive to the male with whom they're in a relationship. This generality extends to heterosexual relationships. Homosexuals can speak to their own experience. And, yes, I'm aware there are exceptions to the male/dominant and female/submissive norm. That doesn't preclude a norm existing.
I also believe many women rebel against their inherent nature and many men reject their nature as well -- and few are happier for it.
I don't profess to know how to live, perfectly, as a submissive. I've tried and failed. But, I believe in this way of life and I'd like to continue to try to live as a naturally submissive female to a naturally dominant male. I will choose, very carefully though, the next man to whom I attempt to belong.
I'm open to chatting with others who believe as I do. Perhaps chatting will lead to a friendship and perhaps it will lead to more. No pressure, either way, as I'm just leaving a relationship and trying to get over that.
