I'm a label-defying woman with an existing committed but non-monogamous relationship. I'm seeking to balance the relationship and sexual energy in my life with other kinds of energy. That balance might include casual play, friends-with-benefits sex, or even an ongoing d/s relationship.
I am NOT looking for a monogamous relationship. If you are, I'm not the person you're looking for. Further, I believe in getting to know one another and exploring compatibility from a position of parity before moving past casual aquaintance. While I try to be respectful and polite in email, if you make dominant demands of me while we're still at at the "interview" stage, I will probably refuse them.
Physically, I'm tall (at least in my own mind), with long wavy dark hair and generous curves and more hips and ass than I'd like, perhaps. I have very pale skin, but very rosy cheeks that flush easily.
A friend says I'm "clever, with a biting wit that is mostly on the good side of bitchy". In all honesty, I'm "worth the trouble", which presumes that I'm trouble to begin with. I'm frequently mistaken for dominant myself because I have a strong social presence. I recently read an essay about a "D/d" paradigm -- a partner who is dominant, who chooses to submit to an even *more* dominant master. That's very like me in some ways. I am not, however, "uppity", or a SAM, or a brat -- if I have agreed to someone's authority, I'm deeply serious about respecting that authority. I'm probably not a good choice of partner for novices.

I self-define as "neoclassical leather", which to me means that I live in the now, but deeply respect the past, rituals, and tradition. I think of myself as shy, but I seem very outgoing and assertive to those around me. As a result, most people meeting me in SM social settings assume I am a dom or top. I have strong opinions and can be very persuasive, in writing and in person. I've been called a "sharp thing", because I have a very cutting social wit and have been used that way by dominant partners.
By the way, I have a life, not a "lifestyle".
