| Who am I? hmm.. I have been struggling to answer this questions for many years now. Actually, I am always forced to answer this question for several reflection papers, etc, but for now, I am gonna answer it because I just wanna ask myself and this is what I've come up with. I am Donkey Kong, Ms. Pac Man, Atari 2600 and sports video games. I am football on Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. I am a wonderful family, close and loving and incredibly supportive. I am films based on true stories and documentaries. I am that guy who you know nothing about but what to know. Am I then really all that which other men and women tell of? Or am I only what I myself know of myself? I would rather just meet face to face and see if it might work because anything I say about myself cant possibly be how someone else would see me... I am always honest, and only the person I know myself to be, yet you find me lacking. Someday you will wake up and find you have lost me. And you will look back and wonder why. I will tell you now. You never loved me, when my love was blind, true, and faithful. Never did I ask you to earn my love, you had it without askng, pleading, fighting, or even trying. But I had to earn yours. And for that I may never forgive you. And one day, sooner rather than later, my back will turn. And it will be gone, everything I would have ever done for you, ever held your hand through, you will realize I am gone, and that you should have recognized what you had when you had it. It will be to late. And the sad thing is you may never even realize it. Best way to learn in this world is through talking to people you count among your friends. |
