BDSM ettiquite. You’d think it would be more widespread, considering how rule-based we are as a community. The principles of functioning BDSM are consent, respect and honesty. However, in every community problems do occur.

Here is one thing that is mentioned time and time again (and I am quoting several blogs, masters, submissive and articles when I say this); just because someone is a submissive, doesn’t make them your submissive. That is like assuming that just because someone is a wife, it makes them your wife. If you do not know somebody, do not make assumptions about them or what they are comfortable with.

Many submissives are instructed not to submit to other Dom/mes. Many submissives (such as myself) have possessive, overprotective Doms who would move Heaven and Earth the keep their subs from being propositioned so inappropriately. Things would be so much nicer and much simpler if people stopped to show subs/slaves/pets/littles/etc. some respect before approaching them.

I am such a happy little kitten! Master was cutes and asked me to be his valentine. We also slept together on skype and woke up together. Is sad that that is what we have to do instead of being in one anothers arms but hey...-shrug- gotta do whatchya gotta do. It made me very happy though. I made a painting for him for a valentines day present and i get to see him the saturday after valentines day! ALL DAY! hehehe
