I have done some lovely Rattan OTK (20") short canes and longer ones (up to 36") also today after soaking for a few days and straightening... handles to add and then i will add a photo or two.
Picture one are OTK and i have scorched some of them to give the tiger effect that will also give a visual difference and you can have many different color handles.
Please not, these are not brought from abroad, China or Hing Kong where they come all ready to go... my suppliers in the UK and i do each one myself and add leather corset style handles. |

The Fleur de Lys
I have been involved with the bdsm scene on and off for some 30 odd years and on leaving Canada some four years ago to return to the UK, I was obliged to leave all my equipment behind. Wanting to get back into the scene recently, I began searching various sites to reburbish my bdsm armoury once more. Purely by chance, I came across Lynn who makes a wide range of bdsm equipment ranging from restraints and collars to heavy leather and rubber impact tools.
Now while I appreciate the aesthetics of bdsm gear is important to some people in the scene, especially the 'fluffy' Dom/Domme brigade, my primary concern is my equipment should be fit for purpose, functional, not likely to deteriorate after a short period and of course, the bottom line, cost. The Fleur de Lys showed me a wide range of wrist and ankle cuffs ( both rubber and leather and of good quality ) rattan canes, paddles of varying weights and hardness of wood and rubber floggers. These would be of particular interest to the serious and dedicated sadists/masochist. But what impressed me was she was able and prepared to adapt or alter most items to my particular needs if required, some immediately or after a short wait. But the most amazing thing was the price. Bearing in mind these were made to her own design or bespoke, not some cheap Asian imports purporting to be high quality items, the price was incredibly low. I purchased a number of items on the spot, ordered more to my own specifications and have used them all subsequently with great success. I did experience one single malfunction with the wrist and ankle cuffs but on bringing it to The Fleur de Lys's attention she immediately offered to repair or exchange them on the spot or have a refund. I opted to have them repaired and have not experienced any problems since. Where else would you receive such service?
My latest acquisitions are two metal studded tawses made to my own specifications which I'm sure you will agree there a pair of impressive implements.
I have no hesitation in recommending her workmanship to anyone who requires good quality bdsm implements at very reasonable prices.

London Below is a new event launching Sunday 30th August in London.
The event has been created to cater for ALL the alternative communities in London.
It will cover all this Gothic, fetish, steampunk, industrial, punk, psychobilly - to name but a few!
There will be a board selection of traders catering for these groups with books, clothing, accessories, toys, homewares, jewellery and custom items.
We will also be holding demonstrations, workshops and talks on a range of topics provided by experts in their fields.
It'll be the ideal place to come and meet socially, shop, chill and maybe find that perfect outfit for the next event you are going to, in a welcoming and friendly environment.
The event will run from 12-6pm,

I have been resourcing all morning and as I try my hardest to buy from the UK its really does take far more time than folk think. I feel its going to take me days to find what I need, like the ropes, stainless steel, rivets long stems etc...
Well I don't mind looking because I still feel I wish to buy from the Uk to support our own manufactures and suppliers because many have died a death, 1000's have become unemployed and others are struggling to complete with the prices from abroad. |

You know its so much harder to resource within the UK.
I have been looking all day yesterday and a for a while today, while having a break from doing my collars... to resource coloured natural cotton rope in bulk. No, I do not want to go to China, India or Japan... I want to buy here to where they used to make rope the old way. I have found one place to get hand made natural rope in the UK but they sell their cotton ropes in 25m lengths and as that's the longest run/part of the shed they can length it to but only in white or black. I so want 100 meters or a spoil of 240 meters... what joy it is to have ideas and always trying to resource in the UK. |

I am in the middle of making a collar that binds... I will practice for a few days and then make one. Its been fun trying so far :)
Then it will be a leash I will attempt afterwards.

I made my first medical play box today with sections in for the needles, medical stapler, remover, ribbons, gloves, sharps box and medical wipes... its been fun. Tomorrow I will decorate it all ready for the goods to be added in it before I take it to the market :)
