I am new to collarme, so this profile is a work in progress.

I'm a 43 year old SWF, never married, no children. I have pets, but I do not consider them my kids.

I was introduced to my submissive side only within the last year and a half, so you can consider me a newbie, but please do not consider me a NOOB. I am educated (Master's degree in English), professional, arguably intelligent, creative (writing and photography), and most importantly I am not a doormat.

I am a redhead and Leo so I would make a lousy slave. I am a confirmed bedroom submissive with some interest in exploring my submissive side outside of a sexual context.

While I AM educated and modern, I find something satisfying about submitting to the will of another human being (I am straight and nothing but straight, so I do not wish to be part of a relationship with a bi female), of giving up control. In my day life, I control my own ship, pay my own bills, own my own house. I consider the submissive lifestyle a respite, a safe place to regenerate and rejoice.

Above all else, due to the circumstances of my life, I need that safe place.

I am adventurous, flexible, and open to new activities as long as I have a dom who is ready to catch me if I fall.

While I do enjoy some degree of pain (if you want details, just ask), I do not enjoy sadism of the mind. I cannot enjoy being a submissive if my dom feels compelled to keep me uncertain of his affection and his concern for my well-being. This is unfortunately the voice of experience talking. So please, no mental sadism. I must also rule out extreme pain and humiliation/degradation. Again, if you want to know my reasoning, just ask.

What am I looking for? Physically I have no criteria as what draws me to a dom is mostly attitude, intelligence, humor, energy level, and that certain "spark" or chemistry that remains inexplicable, a dom with a quiet voice, an air of authority that does not require shouting or bantam rooster behavior.

I have a dom friend in Canada who "coaches" me online who is the REAL deal. He has set the standard, and I hope to find someone like him here in the Louisville area.
