On March 11th, there was a very large earthquake(8.9M) that hit north eastern Japan(Sendai) followed by a powerful tsunami. I am alive and well --> I am in Nagoya city which is pretty far away... but we still could feel the tremors & the buildings all shook vigorously for several minutes!
Due to the tsunami, some nuclear power plants have been damaged and causing great fear here in Japan. Again, I am still pretty far away from that area as well... I will stay here and carry on with life!
