Today we give thanks across this nation. First and foremost I want to give thanks to the who have served, are serving and will serve in our Armed Forces. They gave their all to protect those in need, to give us our rights and protect those rights and freedoms. I also want to thank all of my family, friends and loved ones around the world. For had it not been for all of you, I would have never made it as far as I have in living. I wish to give thanks for the roof over my head, the clothing I wear on my back and the food that I eat to nourish my body. I also want to give thanks that all of my needs are met each and everyday, the wishes I have that have not been met, it is either not time for them or they are something that I do not need to have. I also thank the teachers that have been in my life, without them I would not have the ability to write this or to know any of the things I know. Also I give thanks to those who serve as Police Officers, they protect my property from harm or being taken from me and also keep me from doing things that could harm myself or others. They put their life on the line day in and day out, the same as those in the Armed Forces do in times of conflicts. I know there are a great many things I have forgotten to give thanks for, but I can assure you, nothing in my life will ever go without thanks for having.
