So, heres my take on safe words. Theyre fine for people who are doing some sort of abduction or other role play.
But you and I arent going there, at least not anytime soon. So if you say STOP or DONT or NO, those words mean stop, dont and no.
When I tell you to do something, you can say no and Ill adapt. When I begin some physical act, you can say stop and I will. You can ask me to do something and I may, or may not.
But we also might not really even have to rely on that stuff too much - if we communicate in advance what we like, dont like, and what boundaries we have.
Safe, sane, and consensual.
