Ideas to make condoms part of BDSM:

This article is written from the point of view of a Male Dom and a female sub just because that is my view.  Please don’t take offence and Please Do apply this information to your unique sexuality.

I can imagine a quality male Dominant using condoms in some unique ways.

Education:

I imagine him upon meeting someone in early discussion or training putting the sub to task of learning about STD’s. 

List of STD’s:

• Candidiasis – yeast infection
• Chlamydia
• Chancroid
• Crabs or Pubic Lice
• Genital Warts
• Gonorrhea
• Hepatitis
• Herpes
• HIV/Aids
• HPV
• Scabies
• Syphilis
• Tinea cruris- Jock Itch

This list could be given item by item on a daily basis dependent on the Dom’s desires or the sub’s time constraints.

Part of this task could also be after research going to a doctor for a complete exam, with list in hand.  I will warn you from experience that most places do not during “full” STD workups do a Herpes test, it has to be specifically asked for. . . well actually demanded.

The sub could ask for a written results page to be mailed and go over this with the Dom after.  I would encourage an open mind and gentle spirit in this follow up as I personally have encountered a friend that had no clue she had Herpes until such a process was done.  I believe this person and know it was a shock.  Anyone taking part in this process should be given extreme credit for taking responsibility.  I personally believe MANY people have herpes that are simply unaware & undiagnosed.

Through this process the sub will have a higher respect for the Dom, trust and confidence in their intelligence, safety and care of the sub – all of these things will go a long way in future play.

I would suggest the Dom and sub after discuss a plan they feel comfortable with for their continued health and safety. 

Some sexual health/safety plans might include:

• Extreme safety with ALL partners ALL the time.
• One exclusive partner where condoms or dental dams are not deemed necessary because trust has built that you can trust one another AFTER each having exams to maintain this exclusivity.  With any outside partners of this exclusive set extreme safety be practiced. 

I am sure there are a dozen ideas for safety plans and I would love for you to post yours or message me with it.  Each person is unique so don’t hesitate to think outside the box or task your sub to give you ideas for contemplation.

Research  & Purchase Condoms and Dental Dams:

• If you are a couple or individual that deems that condoms are necessary for safety --- and YEA YOU BY THE WAY!!!!  I have a few ideas to incorporate it into BDSM and make it a pleasurable thing.
• My first idea is to task the sub to explore the variety of condoms out there.  Learn all the possibilities and again report findings for discussion.  (I think reports encourage healthy communication and discussion which I find of the extremely important for sexual partners but even more so for potential BDSM partners.)

Anyone can go to the dollar store or convenience store and get a visa loaded with cash to make an online purchase.  Quality is important to me and that even includes condoms!  I think fewer men would have a condom stigma if they took the time to find the right one for them – not just what the convenience store had!

Then with a basic idea of what’s out there discuss your preferences and uses and your size, length, girth to find the condom that is best suited.  Trying condoms can be fun and finding the ideal one for the male can make something previously unpleasant much more fun!  Try one of the sample packs.  Take a playful approach perhaps.

Application and Use:

• Then task the sub to learn to apply the condom in the most pleasurable way to the wearer.  You can use humiliation during this and tower over “her” teaching, inspecting as she performs this task for You. 
• You can try some of the glow in the dark ones and further press her to learn.  Then perhaps with no light at all?
• You can make “her” beg to apply the condom and condition her and You to view it as a sign that pleasure/penetration is near.  I really think this could be made to be a trigger for pleasure for both partners with a little creativity.
• You can pet her with words telling her how much you care for her as she applies it, as it truly is a sign of concern for her and Your health and wellbeing and continued fun.
• You could also twist this in r/p or humiliation scene to, “if you want me to fuck that dirty cunt you had better put a condom on me!”  or the like, you get the idea.  I with herpes could handle this play as I know it is far from the truth but be careful if your sub has a diagnosis that they are comfortable with it.  Hurting them further after acquiring an STD would be horrific in my opinion and totally off limits.
• You could also train your sub to perhaps get a warm wash cloth after sex and remove the condom and clean you up a bit or suck you clean if your safety plan allowed it & the condom was un-lubed or a flavored lube used.
• I personally would be impressed with any partner that could be creative, playful and consistent with use of condoms! Really!

Just a few ideas:

• You will want a lube on the condom that is safe for ingestion if you plan at any point to go to oral after its use.  You can get dry and not powered condoms and use your own flavored lube, a little on the tip of the cock before applying the condom and then on the outside after.
• Scent for me is also an issue; some have a heavy latex/plastic scent that I find offensive.  Others are intentionally scented for pleasure or unscented.

Be bold, Be honest, Be educated, Be safe and Be a better LOVER.  If more men were using condoms more of them would get laid – I’m just sayin’!  J
