Im also a sapiophile. I find intelligence extremely sexy and it really turns me on to have a great conversation.
I live in the country. I used to live in the big city (Toronto) and though I miss a few things about the city, I really prefer to be out in the country.
Music...hmmm... Well, I CAN listen to almost anything, though people seem to automatically assume I enjoy country music because I live in the country and work on a farm. Its ok in my opinion. Not my first choice in genre though. First choice would be something like Rob Zombie, Greenday, Headstones, Pink Floyd.... but Im pretty ok with listening to anything really, except rap. Im really not into rap.
Im a HUGE movie fan. I can watch movies for HOURS. My order of preference is as follows horror is number one in my book, even bad ones, sci-fifantasy- big Star Wars geek here....lol, comedy- always good, indyforeign films-love them, will watch any, drama- a good drama is a good drama, romantic comedy-not my fav. Ill watch it, but Im really not a chick flick type of gal.
Im also a reader. My taste in books varies depending on my mood. I have books in every room of my house, yes, even the washroom. Some of my favourite authors? Clive Barker is my favourite horror author so far, but Neil Gaimen is a close second. I love Poe, Lovecraft, Shakespeare, and the older Steven King novels. As for titles of books, I have several on the go right now including Rapture of Canaan, Namma a Tibetan Love Story and House of Leaves.
Im also into writing and am currently working on my first novel.
Im really into doing things outdoors. I love hiking, driving, horseback riding, going to fairs, antique shops,swimming, ect. I also have a huge vegetable garden that occupies a lot of time in the summer. ) One of my favourite things to do though hands down is go to Wonderland and ride everything thats there. I have a seasons pass and like to go several times over the season!
I like weird things. Yes, its true! If youre into something strange, mention it. By strange I mean doing things like ghost hunting, maybe metal detecting? Something different. Im always up to trying different things. Life is too short not to try and experience as much as possible.
