I dont normally do stuff like this but Im trying to break out of my shell. All my life Ive been very introverted. I had thought that college would be enough to get me out and about but that hasnt really worked so far either. So now Ive decided to stop being so antisocial.

Ive considered going to an event like a munch but its pretty intimidating. Im probably going to force myself to go to one at some point though.

In terms of my personality Im a pretty quiet nerdy guy who will only open up after I get comfortable. Im intelligent about some things but ignorant of others. I have a hard time trying new things on my own but can really enjoy it when I can share the experience. I try to be logical about things and use reason to diffuse problems. I try to avoid and minimize conflict and drama.

I recently finished my Masters degrees and am jobhunting.

As far as traditional media interests, I watch Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad (over now...), and Black Mirror. I also enjoy various comedies like Parks and Rec. and Community. My favorite book is the Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. I am currently going through A Song of Ice and Fire on audiobook for the third time.

I like to play board games, card games, and video games. Recently Ive been playing Hearthstone, Dota2, and Civilization V. I also keep current with several popular webcomics such as xkcd, Questionable Content, Oglaf and the one that my username came from.

Im not into sports or religion. The most active activity I do on a semi regular basis is waterski.
