It is to correct what I call a birth defect. We are forced to live the wrong gender. Most don't even like what we are born with. So please respect that. If you are not interested that's fine.
Also because I started late I have masculine facial features. That will be corrected through hormones and then facial surgery. I would have preferred starting when I was young but it wasn't accepted especially by my family. I always told my parents I was a girl, they kept correcting me. So I grew up believing I was mentally ill. Through therapy I am happy to know I am not. So I have therapy, hormones. Will have facial surgery to feminize my face

For those who prefer to criticize Trans persons. Studies show a difference in the brain of m2f transgendered persons compared to straight men.
