I am me.
Yes, I can be kind, understanding and loving.
I can also be demanding, exacting and temperamental.
Yes, I do understand you hurt and have grievances caused by others.
So do I, and one of them is being held accountable for others mistakes.
I know you want someone perfect that is without flaws or doesn't have regrets.
I am not that person. My flaws and mistakes are many and I'm not yet through making them.
I know you want someone you can trust, believe in and will never disappoint you.
I want that person also; but to tell you it is me would be a lie. All I can do is promise I will try.
So for now I think I'll just be. That seems completely satisfactory with me.
