Have you ever become so fascinated with something new and ended up obsessing over it to the point where it was probably a problem?
BDSM was that fascination for me.
A few years ago I came across a book depicting BDSM and I suddenly had to know everything and anything about it. I spent hours pouring over web pages and google trying to understand this culture that I was actively researching, unsure if I wanted to know more about it because it was so different from what I knew, or because I wanted to partake in it myself.
Ive only recently come to terms with the fact that it was the latter.
Im still relatively new to all of this and at the moment Im mostly interested in gathering information about BDSM as a culture and a whole.

With this year coming to an end, And as I ponder on possible resolutions for 2016, the main one that keeps coming to mind (as terribly cliche as it sounds) is just being a better version of myself. 2016 for me will be about experience and trying to learn to live in the moment instead of waiting for ones to come. I'm going to exist and be present in all aspects of my life and to allow myself to have things that I wouldn't think I deserved in the past. I want to be a better me. Here's to hoping that I stick to it. |
