First thing people usually notice about me is I'm really tall...my 6'6 towering height is apparently hard to miss. Sometimes I contemplate cutting my legs off because it really sucks trying to fit in a car or on an airplane (or in a suitcase if I ever wanted to pursue being a magician or smuggler). Looking at me, people have no idea I'm actually a respectful gentleman and romantic to an extent. I was raised kind of old school. Secondly, I'm pretty quirky, especially in the realm of sarcasm and wit. I have a bad habit of saying odd things at inappropriate times, especially at irony because really irony is not without a sense of humor. My humor does tend to come off as scathing and morbid, though. The third thing people notice is...I kind of look like a Viking. I have been told on many occasions my nickname should be "The Berserker" or "That Nordic Son-of-a-bitch" and I should be on the battlefield swinging an axe. I guess my guitar is close enough. I do like travel so perhaps traveling down the Rhineland in a Viking ship is in my future. I'm a college graduate, and I must say I'm glad that ended, as it took entirely too long...to the point I felt I would die of old age at my desk. I have a permanent, steady job working in IT that I enjoy and makes me feel way more important at work than the job really is. A few of my hobbies are: 1. Guitar 2. Computers 3. Hiking 4. Movies 5. Halloween My guitar playing skills are somewhere between Will Farrell and Robin Williams talent range...horrible to expert depending on the mood and time. I am really good at computers! Anything IT such as building computers, and computer programming, and like rock stars in the 27 club, it was inevitable. I do like the outdoors, and hiking when the weather permits (simply due to the fact, who wants to be outside in a blizzard or heat wave?) My movie interests can be pretty eclectic, but mostly I can be found watching comedy, action, and horror. Horror, especially movies like Hellraiser or Leviathan and cheesy 80's horror is quite enjoyable. I love Halloween and I honestly wish every day was Halloween. Halloween is the night we discover who we are. I'm also a very open-minded, non-judgmental person, as everyone has their "thing" and judging others for theirs is quite hypocritical. So, if you made it this far and think we could have interesting conversations, drop me a line!
